Welcome to the vibrant world of Fleetwood and District Water Polo Team! Founded in 2001 by a passionate group of former swimmers seeking a refreshing change from the monotony of traditional pool laps, our team has since blossomed into one of the region's most formidable and tightly-knit clubs.

Our squad boasts a diverse lineup, featuring both men's and ladies' teams, as well as a dynamic mixed junior team. We take pride in maintaining a competitive edge while fostering an atmosphere that values the joys of sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Our senior team actively participates in the North Lancashire Water Polo league, engaging in exhilarating cup competitions across the nation. The senior team is open to players aged 16 and above, offering an opportunity to experience high-level competition.

Our junior team, on the other hand, enjoys a mix of friendly matches and competitive showdowns against other talented junior squads throughout the North West. We enthusiastically welcome boys and girls aged 8 to 16 to join this exciting journey.

Join us every Thursday from 19:00 to 20:30 at Fleetwood YMCA for our exhilarating training sessions. No prior water polo experience is necessary; all you need is a strong swimming ability and a passion for the game. If you have any questions or hesitations, don't hesitate to drop by on a Thursday night. We always extend a warm welcome to new members.
